Well just like everyone I wanted a website. At the time I was with Yahoo and I discovered Geocities. But once I learned it wasn't about put boxes everywhere and that I had to learn this mumbo jumbo coding I gave up and didn't look back. This was around the time when I was with the forums
sd-1.net once I had left those forums I hardly went on the computer for around six months. I had a kind of fear of the internet, read the
about me section to fnd out why.
So after that I decided to face my little fear I joined two forums delta goodrem and the veronicas, I re-found my passion for having a website. Like everyone I started on
Freewebs with my site
Shomell Designs, the site no longer exists anymore, I can't stand having accounts open that I don't use, I get scared of hackers XD. At freewebs
Alice coded my first layout. After that I read up on how to code, my coding was pretty basic, I simply use aligning layers to align my content. I didn't know CSS so with PSP 9 I actually made all the boxes. It was a pain. After that I learned that you could make all the boxes via CSS.
Freewebs became a pain becuase every page you had you had to edit the side bar. So
Emma offered to host me, so I learned FTP very quickly, and my new URL was
http://shomelldesigns.nobody-wins.com/, the site also doesn't exist anymore. During this time I knew I wanted a domain, but I still didn't know CSS, but I didn't care, and I went for it, but I backed out because I'm an over-analyser. But I'm glad I did because I didn't know enough coding and I ended up hating the name shomell designs, so it was a good thing. I mainly backed out because
www.doamincentral.com.au in my eyes didn't have a safe payment method and I don't like putting mum's credit card details over the internet if I can't use paypal.
So I stayed with
Emma and I learned CSS coding. Like I said I ended up hating Shomell Designs so I asked
Emma if I could get a new URL, and she said yes and I changed to
http://melissa.nobody-wins.com/ I went with my name because if I ever wanted to change my name I wouldn't have to change my URL, and it was shorter aswell. My name changed to Contagious Love, but after two versions I hated the name and I changed it to Raw-Sugar a name inspired by a coctail bar in my town. After two versions
Mollie and I merged sites and I once again asked
Emma if we could change URL, and we changed to
http://raw-sugar.nobody-wins.com/ I had the dream of at the end of year twelve I would by the domain
http://raw-sugar.net/ and it was avaliable and I often checked and it became unavaliable so I needed another name. By this time I began to hate have a '-' in my site name so it was a good thing. After sitting down and nearly banging my head on the coffee table trying to think of a name I came up with Anamarlia. So essentially Mollie and I stayed together for one version and I bought this domain and here we are now.
