Melissa

My name is Melissa, Mel for short. I'm a 18 year old, young aspiring graphics artist. I come from a hole of a town called Ingham in Queensland Australia. Wouldn't even surprise me if you ever find it on the map. I love graphic design, websites, internet, writing and my friends. I loath those who steal, lie and take credit for other people's hard work, so please be aware of that before you steal from me.

By using this tutorial your image will go from this to this

  1. Right click on the Rectangular Marquee tool and select Ecliptical Marquee Tool.
  2. Change the width and the height to suit your graphic it should look something like this: x
  3. On the selection click right click >> Select Inverse.
  4. Right click again and click Feather. Set the pixels to 20 or under.
  5. Now go to Adjust >> Blur >> Radical Blur. Set the strength to around 24. The quality usually depends on the picture so you can go good or best. For mine I clicked best but for others I sometimes use good. Click okay.
  6. Sometimes the blur isn't enough so you may need to repeat it again, so do the step before again with the same settings.
  7. Your done, this is my result it looks brilliant on blended graphics: x
