By using this tutorial your image will go from this to this.

1. Open up your image get the rectangular selection tool and select the entire pciture.
   Should look like this: x.
   
2. Zoom into the picture at 100% otherwise it will not come out the same size as the image to begin with.
3. Press print screen.
   
4. Paste it as a new image.
   
5. Now use the rectangular selection tool again and select around the picture.
   
6. Copy >> Paste as a new image.
   
7. And you're done.
